Istighfâr – Demande de Pardon d’Allah

Le Istighfâr ou Astaghfâr est la formule de demande de pardon auprès d’Allah, pour qu’Il nous pardonne nos péchés. Il est considéré comme un ibâdat (acte de prière) essentiel car si effectuer les actes d’adorations est une chose, supplier Allah pour nos péchés soient annulés demeure un nettoyage important de nos actes.

Allah nous exhorte de nombreuses fois dans le saint-Coran à ce qu’on Lui demande beaucoup de pardon pour nos péchés. L’annulation de nos péchés est un gage pour accéder au Paradis (jannat).

Il existe plusieurs types de Istighfâr, mais le plus basique se lit comme suit :

The Istighfaar or Astaghfaar is the formulae to ask Allah for foregiveness of our sins. It is considered as an ibaadat (act of prayer) surely essential because deeds of adoration is one thing, but to beg Allah for our sins to be forgiven remains a cleanliness of our deeds.

Allah urge us at many places in the holy koran so that we ask Him many forgiveness of our sins. The cancellation of our sins is a gage to access Paradise (jannat).

There exist many types of Istighfaar, but the most basic one is read as follows:

Astagfirullaaha rabbii minn kulli zhambin-wa atoûbu ilaÿh

Traduction française :

Qu’Allah mon Seigneur, me pardonne de tous mes péchés et je me repens à Lui

English translation:

May Allah my Lord, forgive all my sins and I repent to Him
